Hey, I'm Lyric.

Welcome to Stylezzbylyric — 8+ years of doing hair, based in Miami, Florida.

I got my start in hair by taking responsibility for my family's hair. Over time I've perfected that into a craft, and now I get to use it to put a smile on other people's faces.

My specialties are plaits, braids, and dreadlocs (locs) — protective styles built around a healthy scalp.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions

Yes, for Knotless Plaits and Women's Stitch Braids. You can choose a different braiding-hair color at no extra charge. Boho hair is the one exception — you provide that yourself.

Yes, with every service — locs, plaits, stitch braids, and men's services all include a shampoo and conditioning treatment.

Yes. Boho hair is not included, so please bring your own to your appointment.

$20 is required to reserve every appointment.

There's a 15-minute grace period. After that, the appointment is automatically cancelled. There's no late fee.

Reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment and your $20 deposit can transfer to the new appointment. A deposit can only transfer once.

Your deposit is lost, and a new $20 deposit is required to book again. After two cancellations, you're blocked from future booking.

A no-show results in being blocked from future booking.

No extra guests, please.

VIP is approved personally by Lyric for regular, loyal clients — there's no automatic signup. Reach out to ask.

The fine print

Salon policies

These keep every appointment running fairly. Submitting a booking request means you agree to them.

Availability

  • Open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Closed Sunday.
  • Date and time selections are appointment requests pending confirmation, not a live calendar.

Deposits

  • A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve every appointment.
  • The deposit can only be transferred once.

Late arrivals

  • 15 minutes of grace. There is no late fee.
  • More than 15 minutes late results in automatic cancellation.

Rescheduling

  • Reschedule at least 24 hours in advance and your deposit goes toward your next appointment.
  • Rescheduling after the 24-hour window is considered a cancellation.

Cancellations

  • First cancellation: the deposit is lost, and a new deposit is required to book again.
  • After two cancellations, you're blocked from future booking.

No-shows

  • A no-show results in being blocked from future booking.

Refunds

  • No refunds.

Guests

  • No extra guests.

Hair prep

  • No matted hair.
  • Shampoo and conditioning are included with every service.
